Welcome to the Village Charter School
The 2016-2017 Lottery is Now Closed. Applications are being accepted for our Waiting List.
The last day to apply for the lottery was February 29, 2016, and the lottery drawing occurred on March 11, 2016. However, please apply for our Waiting List as it is possible for things to shift before the new school year, and the Waiting List does get a lot of exercise! If you know of a child who can benefit from exploring their potential at The Village Charter School, have them fill out an application for enrollment..
We will fill openings as they become available from our existing wait list and from new applications on a first come, first served basis.
We all have a life story to write, what will be your child’s?
At The Village Charter School, we are all about working with kids to “Lead To Succeed.”
As a Seven Habits Focus School, we offer a proactive partnership in which you and our team of experts will help your child begin to explore and build on his or her strengths. We have a track record of success in helping our learners increase confidence and the capacity to achieve. Our success in helping children is a result of the following structure we have in place for every child entering our school:
- 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
- (ACE) Accountable, Considerate, Equipped For Future Situations
- Step It Up 2 THRIVE/Theory of Change
- EXPLORE & EXPERIENCE Electives
- Limitless Learning Method
- Service Learning
- Credentialed, committed, and caring faculty
- Ongoing formative assessment to continuously monitor the trajectory of learning for each learner.
Your child’s academic and social journey is too important to leave up to chance. Be proactive now and join our community of learners, and help us help you insure your child’s future success. We are a tuition free, state-funded public school in its fifth year of operation.
The Village Charter School is a non-sectarian tuition-free public charter school located in Boise, Idaho that serves both middle school and elementary school students from kindergarten through eighth grade (K-8).
