I am so thrilled to be a part of this amazing school and to teach Kindergarten. This is my 2nd year at TVCS and I come to The Village after working at The Treasure Valley Family YMCA (West Y-City Branch) for 15 years as the Aquatic Director and then the Membership Director.  My first Bachelor's Degree is in Health Promotion from Boise State and I earned my second Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (again from Boise State).  I student taught in the Boise School District for the 2010-2011 school year in 1st grade and 5th grade.  I have always wanted to be an elementary teacher and absolutely love spending my days helping children believe in themselves and watching them learn and thrive in my classroom.  It is exciting to see their growth in reading, math, social skills, writing, motor skills and so much more during their time in kindergarten.

When I am not teaching or preparing lesson plans, I love to spend time with my family and friends.  I have 2 adorable nieces and 1 nephew who I love to spoil, even though they live in another state. I love Boise State football, reading, movies, photography and many other things.
