- March 2012 TVCS Board Members attend Idaho Charter School Network's annual Conference
- February 2012 TVCS is chosen to participate in Idaho Leads Project
- January 2012 TVCS 6th Graders are awarded "Best Project Teamwork Design" in the Future City competition
- November 2011 Board of Trustees approves the first afterschool club - TVCS Cheer Club
- September 2011 TVCS is selected to participate in Project Unify and is awarded $1000 in grant funds
- August 25, 2011 Jani Knox and Rachael Smith step down as Start up Coordinators and are elected as Board members
- August 25, 2011 Aaron Knox & John Smith resign as Board members.
- August 22, 2011 First first day of school
- August 2011 Staff and Founders attend The Leader In Me - The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People Training
- July 2011 Dr. England and teachers attended the National Differentiated Instruction Conference and National Singapore Math Conference in Las Vegas, NV
- June 2011 Pre-Opening Programmatic Audit conducted by the Idaho Charter School Network
- June 2011 Idaho Public Charter School Commission approved a second kindergarten class to be added allowing growth to roll up one class per grade every year
- June 2011 Start up Coordinators Jani Knox and Rachael Smith atteded the National Charter School Convention in Atlanta, GA
- June 2011 Middle school social event held at school - multi media art collages were created
- May 2011 Enrollment Celebration Picnic with students, Administrator, staff and parents at Ivy Wild Park

- June - August 2009 Founding group develops school programs and writes the Charter Petition document
- June 2009 The Village Charter School is named

- May 2009 Founding Group decides to start a charter school in Boise Idaho in the boundaries of The Boise School District.
